It's a Trend, I've Been Meme'd

Melissahead Yabberings has meme'd me. The word "meme" in itself is just interesting enough to google. I am not "hip" so I had to look it up.

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

1) What was I doing 10 years ago?
Wow, June of 1998!!! - I had graduated from The Art Institute of Phoenix. I was probably hunting for my first real "graphic design job." I found one as an "image manipulator". Learned a lot about those little flip up and down lenticular animations.

2) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today?
In no particular order I have to:
1} Meet with a client for an online training session over the phone.
2} Swing by the bank so I can pay our newly found gardener.
3} Exercise (I really need to!!)
4} Take my girls to do a fun summery event: either pottery painting or the pool.
5} Read a little bit from a new book I bought about recently in regards to parenting.

3) Snacks I enjoy:
Oh the enemy, snacks. I seem to snack on a lot of the things I buy for my kids like chocolate teddy grahams, gummy sour worms, popcorn. Now snacks "I" enjoy: cookies, ice cream and of course chocolate.

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
I would schedule some vacation time with the family, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Europe but I would probably hire someone immediately to redo my front and backyard, I would redo a lot of the house decor asap, pay off a lot of the things that could use some paying off like mortgage. I sound very uncreative in the matters of handling money, I know. I would make sure to secure some college funds for my kids and buy my parents a home and pay off their debts as well. Buy an awesome new car too! Oh, shame on me, but I'd hire a plastic surgeon and upgrade to Maria 2.0.

I don't know, to tell you the truth I don't want to be a billionaire, I'd be happy with 500,000.00 first. If I can manage that, then I'd trust myself with a billion.

5) Places I have lived:
I've had the awesome opportunity to spend most of my childhood in San Juan (Puerta de Tierra), Puerto Rico. Oh how I miss the tropical paradise at times. After that we moved (I was 12) to Phoenix, Arizona. I currently reside in a city named "Surprise!!"

6) Jobs I have had:
I worked for a dry cleaners as a counter person. I collected your clothes and money. I opened the store, closed it, was in charge of getting the money ready for deposits, etc. I was 16, at the same time (yes I had two jobs at 16) where I worked as a sandwich maker for Schlotzsky's Deli. There I learned to move fast during rush hours and tend to about 200 customers in about an hour and a half.

Lastly before entering the real job world of design I worked at my college's book store. There I learned to use my time wisely. I read the store's books and educated myself more about art, and drawing without buying the books. Saved tons! Made a really bad minimum wage.

7) Bloggers I am tagging who you will enjoy getting to know better:

- Mr. Chocolat Princess
- Jeopopolis
- Mary from Diversion Mary
- A Little Hut
- I need more blog friends. ** Cheers **

What?! Maria 2.0???? You can't upgrade perfection, my dear. How about you use some of your billion to get us really expensive and gorgeous matching haircuts. You know, because we always have to have matching hair!

Great to see you back!! :)

This sounds like fun! It'll take me a few days but I'll do it. Thanks for the tag!

Nobody tags me. And I have so much love to give, too.

Jeope, I've sent you some "love". Pat, I am a sneaky reader. I visit often. The veteran "howies" are always an inspiration.
