This weekend I was fortunate to be able to run away with my hubby for a movie date. (WOOT!) We were able to see Watchmen which in my opinion was awesome! It was a 'different' type of superhero film for me. My husband had gifted me the comic novel but I have yet to read through it. It took me a little bit to understand the story, but in the end I left completely satisfied with excellent and unpredictable results.
Another excellent rental flick this weekend was Sunshine. If you have not seen it, I truly believe is worth checking out. However, if you're like me, you need to watch it during the day because Danny Boyle movies tend to leave me on the edge of my seat almost every time (don't even get me started on 28 Days Later).
