Here's an illustration I tried out for the 'glamour' of Illustration Friday. To be honest I haven't fully illustrated in a long time so I see many flaws... but nevertheless (did I spell that right) I tried to do the best I could at the moment. I used a cover of 'Cosmopolitan' as inspiration. :) Thanks for stopping by! * Hugs *

Really neat! I like the various textures, and the compostion as much as your artwork.
I like it. You did a great job!!
Nice work, you're hired!
cool! I like the textures too. That adds a nice quality to it. You go Luna :)
Great job! I like this a lot.
nice style and textural feel to your work.
Nice illustration and very amuseing blog!
Thanks everyone for the kind words and compliments. Fashion Flaw - I am going to try and commit to doing this every Friday. It was intoxicating in a good way to set time aside to do this. :) Again thanks for stopping by everyone!
Dang, Davpunk beat me to it!
Dave
I often use Cosmopolitan for "research", too.
OK, snide remarks aside - this looks really cool. The work on the background is amazing - how was it made?
I don't want to sound like a pervert lol but I knew her "chest" was perfect when I accidentally deleted her shirt and it felt as if I had undressed her.
I had a real hard time with relaxing her pose (Rx: Draw more). I had a real hard time with her darn hands. (Rx: Draw more.) LOL
Jeope the texture was created in illustrator and photoshop. I created a red-blue-white gradient in 'triangular' like shapes. There are some ray like patterns behind the woman. I created them by drawing an oval and applying a distort filter: zigzag.
Then I took it into photoshop were I layered the illustration. I added some of (shhh! kbowmans brushes) then I added a little bit of 'noise' to get rid of the 'illustrator sharpness'.
Did I say thank you for asking, if not... thank you for asking. :)
Dave minds "think a like"
LOL
There's no shame in using Keith's handiwork. I finally realized this when he emailed me after I finished my Christmas book - I thought he was gonna razz me about royalties, on account of me using them to death. But he was quite insistent that it's OK to use them, nice chap that he is.
Very prominent silicone installments. Good work!
